Great work as usual.. I think this design will work well especially for community spaces – like rec centres, schools where there are real concerns about space and costs.
I can see these kind of tables in class rooms/caferias/libraries/student lounges and students can easily pull them together to work on group projects or hang out as groups.
I think you may also want to look at how to make the design stylish enough for the home. These kind of tables may be great for young professionals who want to create stylish space, are in need furniture but have a conservative budget. Tables which can convert from end tables and be clamped together to make a coffee table or from a minibar to a dinning table.
