If we could somehow install LED or something in the zebra crossing, it would be good in two ways.
1) If it’s possible to use different colors, pedestrians know the state of the crossing timing (green/yellow/red).
2) The light standing out, drivers can detect the pedestrians more easily.

Looking for zebra illustrated picture found your site. But my idea also contains the next stage: cross advertising. It is the same way, but lights is an advertisment pictures.
