Mainly because I don’t usually care about nutrition when I eat, this kind of function would be helpful for people like me.

Mac, this device might end up being great enough to save the world. I am excited at how it’s evolving. I really love, how well it offers solutions for different types of real world needs.
Have you thought about partnering with Wiki and Google to get this thing produced? It really is one of those devices that I can see people not being able to leave home without. Especially in this world where we are so information hungry.
P Kayne, thank you so much for your comment. I’ve heard a few developers have been developing this kind of device already, but it would be great if I could help them.
You will definitely be able to add value to their versions of the device because you have proven that you are talented product designer with a boon of ideas.
You definitely should reach out to some of the companies that you know are doing something similar. You already have credibility because everybody is blogging about your work. Just based on the pingbacks, tech mags and related blogs worldwide are interested in what you designing and your ideas. It’s only time before companies come knocking and if they don’t you should go after the ones you want to work with.
I do hope that you are getting patents for this stuff. That’s my two cents.
thanks. super site
Wow. I really don’t think that this will come in the near future, not at least for a dozen years! Yet google is developing a mobile technology which enables a user to find his precise location by taking a picture, but still, you will not be able to locate yourself in the middle of the jungle… unless you have a gps attached. And anyway, i doubt that this technology will be available everywhere… only in large cities, or chain restarants. To me, it seems like a good initiative, but not on such a large scale. Maybe it will act like a device capable to take applications developed by map making companies, tourism companies… Speaking of tourism, this would be just perfect… Imagine going through a cave, and you want to find out about a rock, but the guide is way at the front and it would be inpolite to shout out while he’s speaking. Instead, just point your touchscreen mobile device thing at it, and you will get all the info you’ll ever want. And finaly, make it smaller, or foldable, or even shrinkable (like the nokia morph concept) to fit into a pocket and be the size of an ipod nano when in your pocket, and the size that is shown here when unfolded. Personaly, if such a thing would comme out, I would definitevely get it. You might also want to contact apple, to make this the next iphone or something. Last thought: you may also use this device as a menu for a restaurant, a student mini class helper, a tv remote, a notepad… Well, there is no limit to imagination! And I really hope that this device will be comercialized in the NEAR furure! Good Luck!!!!!
Thanks for your comments and great ideas, iSasha.
